We are delighted that Helen Straw of The Personnel Partnership will deliver another workshop for us this year. Helen is a chartered corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has over 20 years’ HR experience, working in both the private and public sector for organisations that include Robert Wiseman Dairies and Kirklees Metropolitan Council.
This year Helen will develop and deliver a bespoke workshop for us on Effective Absence Management. It will be a very practical session with a focus on managing short term / intermittent and longer term sickness absence. Helen will provide some practical advice, tools and techniques to help you effectively manage employee sickness absence along with a legal perspective. Helen has successfully helped many of her clients to reduce their employee absence levels, so this is a workshop not to be missed!

Helen has operated at a senior level, providing HR support and advice during times of company set up, business growth, major reorganisations and on complex employee issues. She has developed and implemented a range of HR policies and strategies as well as managed day to day operations across the UK.
In 2001, Helen set up her own HR consultancy, The Personnel Partnership, to provide bespoke, practical HR services for businesses nationwide and has been an active member of Brighouse Link since it was established.
